Injuries from power tools are a painful subject for Kevin Ireton. Literally. Ireton was working as a carpenter in 1985 when a table saw sliced the tip off the ring finger of his left hand. The board he was cutting kicked back and was hurled from the equipment, and the hand that was guiding it continued into the blade.Ireton has since made power-tool safety a sort of crusade.
